Control cabinet thermostats are used to control filter fans and heaters in control cabinets and enclosures.
There are 3 versions here:

• Normally open (NO)
• Normally closed contact (NC)
• Changeover contact (W)

Control cabinet thermostats with NO contact are used to control filter fans. As a visual identification feature, they are therefore equipped with a blue setting knob.

Control cabinet thermostats with normally closed contact (NC) are used to control heaters. They differ from the normally closed thermostat only visually by a red setting knob.

Changeover thermostats (W) can be used to control filter fans, heaters, fan trays, cooling units, etc. The advantage is that a changeover thermostat can be used universally - to control cooling or heating components.
